Visible Body Review:
Complete the following tasks...
1) Click on chapter 6 - "the integumentary system"
2) Starting at 6.1 (Skin layers), do an interactive tour, while looking at notes. While reading add anything new or helpful to your notes and/or skin diagram. Answer questions 1 & 2 (GoogleForm).
3) Continue to 6.2 - Epidermis. Click on each layer in the compare relative THICKNESS of each. Record a ranking of this in your notes. (Answer qs 3-4)
4) Continue to 6.3 - Epidermis Histology. Read carefully the information on slide 1. Add any unique info to your notes. As you click on slides 2-4, answer questions 5-7
5) Continue to 6.4 - Skin Cells. PLEASE ADD THE IMAGES OF THE CELLS TO YOUR NOTES. Drawings need to depict uniqueness of each cell. Answer the two very serious questions in the form (questions 8-9).
6) Continue to 6.5 - Epidermal Cells. This information was mostly covered so simply review and move to 6.6.
7) 6.6 - Dermal Layers. Review the layers of the dermis. Add any new information to your notes. Answer questions 10-11.
8) 6.7 - Dermal Histology. Compare the reticular layer and the papillary layer: Answer question 12.
9) 6.8 - Thick vs. Thin Skin.
