Module 10.1 Preview

The tale of air; From Inspiration to Exhalation. A lung warming story of oxygen's tumultuous journey into the circulatory system. 

- DIRECTIONS: This warm-up is designed as additional practice to understanding the structures of the internal respiratory system. Using creativity (potentially) and your knowledge of the respiratory system, create a unique approach to tell the story of oxygen from the outside world all the way to it's final destination of diffusion to RBCs (and maybe beyond to other structures in the body) Be sure to include any and all anatomical and physiological features associated with the lungs and respiration. It is encouraged that you go above and beyond - extra credit will be rewarded if this is accomplished. 

- Include all the respiratory structures and the correct order that gases pass through in order to arrive at a capillary bed within the lungs. Each structure of the respiratory system has different physiological and anatomical features - include a description of each section. 

- At the bare minimum a basic description of the items listed above must be included.
